Taking care of yourself is essential. But sometimes, a simple act can also change someone else’s life. Right now, the Canton of Geneva is facing a blood shortage, and we must rely on external supplies to meet the needs of patients. Yet this reality could affect any of us, directly or indirectly.
That’s why Institut Florimont, in collaboration with the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), is organising a blood drive on June 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the school, in the Marcel Baechler Room (located next to the Stade Lancy-Florimont).
APEF is joining the school in this effort and encourages our parent community to participate in the drive to help maximize the number of donors.
Why donate blood?
Every day, people need blood transfusions—whether for medical treatments or life-threatening emergencies. One donation can save multiple lives.
Donating blood is a simple, quick, and deeply meaningful act of solidarity.
