Christmas fair at school on dec 2nd 2022

The APEF is happy to announce that the Christmas Fair will take place on Friday 2nd December for the whole day for the children and from 3pm for the parents.

You’ll find the day’s programme below which is full of surprises: we look forward to seeing many of you there.

The fair will be open all day for the children who will visit it accompanied by their teachers from kindergarten and primary school, and the older children can go by themselves during their breaktime. (Don’t forget to give some money to your little cherubs on the day).
As for the parents, they are welcome to come from 3pm until 8pm and you will be able to:

  • buy the wonderful Christmas works of art made by our children,
  • get started on your Christmas shopping at some of the stands, there’s Olixir olive oil, gift baskets and Arts&crafts surprise packs,
  • treat yourself to homemade cakes, popcorn, candy floss, crêpes, sweets, hot dogs, churros and cheese. You can also quench your thirst with some Christmas tea and coffee without forgetting the traditional mulled wine prepared by our Chef!
  • enjoy some creative Christmas workshop,
  • have your photo taken at our Photo Booth with the ‘real Father Christmas’,
  • share a special moment for our Florimont community with the Christmas mass in the Florimont chapel at 6pm for all parents and children,
  • take advantage of being at the school to buy any items of the Florimont sports kit that you are short of, as our second-hand uniform stand will be there
  • you can also come and collect your Escalade bib for the races on Saturday (the bibs for the races on Sunday can be collected at the ‘Cercle de la Terrasse’ from Sunday morning).

Finally, don’t forget to come dressed in your nicest Christmas jumper as the ‘best Christmas sweater’ competition is taking place once again this year and last year’s title is up for grabs!

Last but not least, we would be grateful if you could support the kind initiative of our student council, who are collecting presents for underprivileged children, by bringing a present that will brighten up their Christmas.

We look forward to seeing you all at our Florimont community’s wonderful fair.
