With the 6th-grade groups, in October, we reflected on the theme of trust with the help of Abraham (Gen 12:1-9).

This week, the Thursday group created their “tree of trust.”

Just like a tree, trust must be nurtured and maintained to grow:

• The roots: what nourishes trust. What it is based on.
• The leaves: examples of trust. Actions that strengthen trust.
• The fruits: positive outcomes of trust.

It was a wonderful and meaningful reflection with a group of 10 very motivated 6th graders at the heart of the Chaplaincy.
