As winter approaches, the association Caritas has called out for donations of warm clothing. Indeed, since the start of this year, the number of distributions made by the “vestiaire social” increased by 46%. Keeping in mind that only 22% of this increase was due to Ukrainian refugees, the situation is becoming distressing given that winter is about to start.

This situation alarmed some Secondaire students who decided to act by organising a big adult and children’s clothing collecting event starting November 21st and ending November 24that school.

The clothes collected will be :

• Any kind of warm clothes
• Shoes and winter boots
• Hats, gloves, and scarves
• Unused underwear

The clothes and shoes must be in good condition and washed!

This is the perfect occasion to do a bit of sorting in your wardrobes! The students have planned multiple ways to make your donations’ drop-off as quick and easy as possible. The collect will be done in three different ways:

• When dropping off your children by car, give your bag containing your donation to the students responsible in front of the security post near the main entrance at avenue du Petit-Lancy or at the stadium’s parking
• You or your child can drop it off in the dedicated box at the reception
• You or your child can drop it off in the dedicated box in the Vie Scolaire’s office in Primary
